What's for Dinner Today? ~ 2022

I had Thanksgiving on Wednesday.  Made a 14.82 lb turkey with stuffing, Italian Bow Tie Pasta, mashed potatoes, butternut squash, deviled eggs, and pumpkin pie.  Of course, Don was no where to be found when it was ready.  He ate later.

J made a pork roast with gravy and garlic mashed potatoes with peas. Apple Kringle for dessert. 

I have not been able to eat much today.

Veggie Ranch Bow Tie Pasta Salad for me.  I know Don had some of the the Pea, Cheese, and Ham pasta salad I made.  Not sure what else he made.

I think I am making pizzas for the guys. Not sure if I can eat or not. Peach pie for dessert.

Made a hamburger helper hash brown thing.  Won't be doing that again, neither of us were impressed or really cared for it even though I added the chopped green pepper and scrambled eggs at the end like it suggested

J made fried chicken and Jon made seasoned tater tots. Peanut butter cookies for dessert. I could not eat.

J made them eggs, bacon and potatoes with onions for breakfast along with toast and coffee. I had half a honey bun. They had pizza for lunch. I had applesauce. We are supposed to have friend chicken and fries for dinner. I know I will not be eating. Peanut butter cookies for dessert.

Don is in the dog house!  I told him he has to eat leftovers that he has not eaten in the last few days.

I had 2 cheeseburgers for breakfast when I got home from work this morning

J went out for dinner. Jon wanted Dominos and we got buy 1 pizza get 1 free and they deliver. I made two dozen peanut butter cookies for dessert.

I made an Angus Beef Rump Roast with potatoes, celery, and carrots.  Don still has frosted brownies and Little Debbie Nutty Bars for dessert.

The guys got Mc Ribs and fries for lunch and I had about a 1/4 of a vanilla shake with some applesauce. 

For dinner J made pounded pork chops with a sauce and peas and German Salt Potatoes  and they also had a huge bottle of white wine. I had a small portion of the potatoes. I have no appetite today.

Today I am making Chuck Iron Skillet Steaks, baked potatoes and frosted brownies for Don

Yesterday I made biscuits and gravy for breakfast and for lunch I made cheeseburgers

We had French Onion Soup Crocks and Salads for lunch. J is making home made chicken wings for dinner.

Yesterday I made Spaghetti and Garlic Texas Toast.  My meat sauce turned out really thick.  I probably should not have added the tomato paste.  Oh well, it was still really good.
Don didn't complain.

J has been eating off and on all day. Jon had free subs for lunch. I had meds all day. 

The guys went out for all you can eat wings and had Spotted Cow. They brought me home a brisket, bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich on Texas Toast with homemade mayo with waffle fries. I managed to eat half. It was so good. Dinner for Thursday. J was complaining I had not made him cookies this week. Really?

I ended up sleeping for about 7 hours, so I did not make anything and had to listen to Don yelling at me, while I was sleeping about nothing to eat.  He is capable of making his own food or eating leftovers.  I did not look but I know he had been snitching off the chicken from yesterday.

I warmed up the rest of the cornbread for myself when I got up.

Jon went and got them Mc Ribs and fries and nuggets. He got me a burger and fries. Nice thing to do. The rest of the oatmeal raisin cookies for dessert.

I need to take that advice. I did that with my first husband. I make them what they want and then I hate eating. 

Tonight I did cheeseburgers and fries for them but I warmed up a taco and an enchilada for me with a small salad of lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream.

What a joy!  Finally got Don to say yes to making Chicken leg and thigh quarters (he was saying NO to everything else I suggested),  Of course I love Rosemary but he does not so today I put it on one of the 3 quarters.  Made baked potatoes and said time to eat ~ "I'm not ready to eat" he says.  WTF!  He does not want to kill his drinking buzz ~What an ARSE!  That's ok, I ate a breakfast so I am going to be just as stubborn as him.  I don't need to eat right this minute.  

Here is a true story ~ I was at Festival Foods and they had lamb chops on clearance for about $16 and there were a number of packs.  There was another lady there, we had a conversation and then I said I really love lamb chops but boyfriend doesn't.  She told me to get my head out of my Arse and start thinking with my mind and not my legs.  She has the same situation.  She says she makes lamb chops for her and a steak for him.  The hell with what he wants, I need to eat what I like as well.  That now sticks in my mind, needless to say, the lamb chops are still in my freezer.  I hate making 2 different meals, especially with my work schedule.

Got home from work and tossed the left over taco meat and chopped onions in a fry pan and warmed/sautéed them.  Then I sprayed the pay with butter cooking spay.  Mixed 5 tiny eggs with some shredded Cheddar and the rest of the chopped tomatoes and mixed it all together.  Put some in a bowl with green chili's and salsa and ate it with flour tortillas.  Turned out really good.  Don did not want any.

J stayed home and ate soup. Jon and I went to Sheboygan for Mexican food. We had our chips and salsa and ground beef hard tacos and enchiladas. We also had refried beans with cheese and rice and I had lettuce, tomato and sour cream with mine. So good. I ended up bringing half of mine home for later.

We were supposed to go to Milwaukee to eat but J is not here so not sure what Jon and I will do. Dawn, Mexican sounds good.

Made tacos yesterday but did not make my Guac because I only had 1 Roma tomato.  No loss.  Don left to help JP and didn't eat.
