Easy No-Bake Chocolate Oat Bars
EASY NO-BAKE CHOCLATE OAT BARS
Makes 16-20 bars
Prep time: 15 minutes
Total time: 2 hours 15 minutes
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 CUP BUTTER
- 1/2 CUP BROWN SUGAR, PACKED
- 1 TSP VANILLA EXTRACT
- 3 CUPS ROLLED OATS
- 1/2 TSP CINNOMIN
- 1/4 TSP KOSHER SALT
- 1 CUP DARK CHOCOLATE CHIPS
- 3/4 CUP CRUNCHY PEANUT BUTTER
Directions:
Line 8x8 baking pan with parchment paper and set aside
In medium saucepan combine butter, brown sugar, and vanilla. Put on low heat until butter is melted and sugar is dissolve
add oats, cinnamon, and kosher salt. Cook Stirring constantly 4 - 5 minutes.
Pour half of the mixture into reserved baking dish. Spread evenly and press down.
In microwavable dish add chocolate chips and peanut butter. Heat on High in increments of 40 seconds stir after each time and repeat until melted and fully combined.
Reserve 1/4 cup mixture for drizzling. Add remaining chocolate mixture to top of pressed oats.
Top with remaining oats and drizzle reserved chocolate mixture on top.
Refridgerate 4 hours or until mixture is firm.
Cut into bars and serve
