For breakfast J made himself biscuits with sausage gravy. Jon warmed up shrimp and fries. I made myself a ham, egg and cheese sandwich.
For dinner I am making a garlic herb seasoned pork loin with garlic mashed potatoes, gravy and peas. I have some tiny frosted cupcakes for dessert.

For lunch I made an egg, ham and cheese sandwich. Jon had polo ala crema. J made a bread bowl with an entire can of chili. He also had more buttered bread to go with it.
J and Jon are having homemade Hooters Shrimp and Fries. I have the mix and sauce. I am going to take a few shrimp and cook it with rice and some veggies. The rest of the creme horns for dessert.

Re: What's For Dinner (or any other meal) 2024
Since a little after 8am, I have been asking what Don wants to eat (about 3-1/2 hours ago) Just a little while ago, he said he did not want anything that he would hate to bother me. I told him I am sick of making food and you not eating it. I am done wasting food or freezing it to sneak into something else later.
I took the disasterous remains of the breakfast pizza I made and poured the cream of mushroom sauce I had poured over the pork Chops. Heated it up and add a couple crackers and a handful of mozarella cheese. It was salty but I ate it. Also had 2 bite size snicker bars.
Who knows what Don will eat. Still lots of leftovers, dinty moore beef soup, and the list goes on

We stopped for barbecue for lunch. I had brisket on half a bun with a salad. It was good. J had large brisket on a bun with large fries and a sweat tea.
For dinner he fried cod and J put his on buttered rye bread and I made steak fries. I had a salad. They also had Spotted Cow. Creme Horns for dessert.

I made mozarella sticks, beef hot dogs and a ring of beef smoked sausage for lunch. Don should have lots of options to eat today.

I took some of what I salvaged from that breakfast pizza and put it in a fry pan with chopped onions and green peppers. Added butter and cook it in a fry pan. Added some Fiesta Cheese when almost done. It is better than the pizza thing but would have been even better if the meats had been raw.

I made myself a lettuce salad with chopped onion, tomato, green peppers, and taco meat with Asian Toasted Sesame Dressing. Don is on his own, I offered a couple things after he turned his nose up at leftovers and he said no to all.

I was not real sure about a recipe that I got off Darcy's site but thought I would give it a try. YUCK! I should have gone with my gut. I made Breakfast Pizza witha hash bropwn crust. I even made a few adjustments to try to give it better flavor. It did not hold like a pizza. I needed a fork and knife. I salvaged what I could and will do something with it later.

It was a nice day and I did not feel like cooking yesterday. I ordered Chicken strips from Rosa's. I was going to start the oven about 20 minutes before their estimated time of delivery and no sooner I turned on the oven, our food was here so Don said to forget the mozzarella sticks.

For lunch I made Jon a buffalo chicken pizza. I had an egg, ham and cheese sandwich on toast and warmed J up linguine and one of the chicken picatta with capers pieces.
For dinner I warmed up leftover beef kebabs with onions and rice for me and J made he and Jon Polo ala Crema and I got them a bottle of white wine. Made some frosted sugar cookies for dessert and they are all gone.

Monday I made taco stuff with all the fixings. I ate leftover lasgna but Don wanted stuff for tacos so he could make a salad. He still can't eat them in the shells (soft or hard)

Jon and I had a late lunch today. We went out for lunch. Jon had a cod sandwich with lettuce and cheese, fries and pretzel bites with cheese sauce. I had a Swiss burger on toasted rye with lettuce, tomatoes, fried and raw onions and catsup and mayo with fries. It was so good. I was going to make dinner but the guys did not want dinner.

Made dinner early at 3:30. Made the guys cheeseburgers and fries and I made mine with no cheese and added lettuce, tomatoes, onions, mayo and ketchup. May make some popcorn later. Wanted something easy once.

For breakfast it was eggs, bacon, hash browns with onions, and toast. I had one of each and J had three.
For dinner, it will be grilled kebabs, grilled kefta kebabs, rice pilaf, white rice, pitas, and hummus and sauces. The little cakes for dessert.

Re: What's For Dinner (or any other meal) 2024
Last night I ended up using leftovers to make a makeshift Shepher's Pie. Had some mashed potatoes, corn, bits of carrots, onions, a bit of ground beef and some leftover beef gravy. Put them all together with the potatoes on top and warmed up. Turned out not too bad.
Jon finished the fries and the enchiladas for lunch and J made sandwiches. I made a ham, egg and cheese sandwich on toast.
For dinner we are planning on Chicken Picatta with capers and wine sauce and some linguine. Found some of the British cakes I like and will have them for dessert.

Don can live off leftovers because that is what I will be doing and he does not cook

I made us egg, ham and cheese sandiwiches on toast for lunch. For dinner the guys want fish sticks, but Jon wants fries and J wants mashed potatoes with butter and rye bread so I guess there will be both. I am probably going to make leftovers for me.

His majesty decided he wanted to know what I made to go with the ham, which was not really the main menu item. I told him Augratins and he turned up his nose, so I made Idahoan mashed potatoes. He needs to get over himself. I heated up the last hot pocket and smothered it with Ranch dressing. I am not a fan of ham because it is so darn salty and I HATE salt

Re: What's For Dinner (or any other meal) 2024
Today is leftovers, however, while digging out old frozen bread to donate to valley of the kings, I found a hunk of ham that I had from when I disected the large ham I got a deal on. Making that as well. Don did not seem happy that I was making a ham. He is getting pickier and pickier but will not cook unless he can grill something that I have to prep ahead of time anyways. I also made egg salad with the 3 hard boiled eggs that were still left. He likes that. I prefer it with onion, celery, and real mayonaise.
