What's for Dinner Today? ~ 2022

Had our big meal today in Door County. Jon had pizza and we had salad bar with pasta carbonnara with bacon and cream sauce and breadsticks. Creme horns for dessert. It was so good.

Tonite I am making Ribeye Steaks, fresh asparagus in milk, and baked potatoes.  I made Banana Bread Brownies for dessert

last night we ordered Broasted Chicken and Potato Wedges from Gus' Pizza Palace

I though big salads would be easy. J wanted a salad with breaded chicken on it, Jon wanted a Ceasar Salad and I wanted a Chef Salad. lol Jon also wanted tater tots. Then it was creme horns for dessert.

I took Liz out for dinner and we had Mexican so when the guys wanted dinner they could have it. Too greasy for me. Made Tempura Chicken Strips, Tater Tots and made a homemade Funnel Cake for dessert!

We went to Badger Bob's Bar and Grill for Lunch.  We both had the 4 cheeseburger with french fries.  We also ordered the Large appetizers.  We almost got full on the appetizer.  We both took home leftover burger.  It was delish!

I made eggs over easy, toast, and link sausages for breakfast.  I got stuff ready, so Don could make Tacos if he wanted.  I was not feeling well and laid down.  Needless to say as much as I knew they needed me at work last night, I sent Allen a message and said I couldn't make it in.  I did manage to get cheesecake cookies done and ate a couple of those later in the evening.

Beef brisket BLT's with oven fries and pickles and pickled purple onions. The guys had Spotted Cows. Still have Black Forest Cake for dessert.

Made brat patty sandwiches and fries for the guys. I ended up a long time later making a Lean Cuisine Turkey and Stuffing Dinner. They had Black Forest Cake for dessert.

Yesterday, I made Boneless Beef Ribs in a slow cooker with Chicken Stock, cut celery, halved red potatoes, and cut up baby carrots.

Going to make Chicken Tikka Marsala with Rice Pilaf and Pitas. Black Forest Cake for Dessert.

I decided to make a Roma Deluxe Pizza before I went to bed, last night.  I added more pepperoni and sprinkled some shredded Colby Jack Cheese on it.

Made Cheeseburgers and oven fries before the football game.

Made big rib eye steaks, steak fries with seasoning and salads and Jon grilled some toast. Black Forest Cake for dessert later.

I have been craving a beef stew for quite awhile.  I ended up making a Veggie Beef Soup that turned out of this world and didn't want to mess with it.  I chopped up a little over a pound of beef stew meat, 4 large stalks of celery, 4 potatoes, and about 1/4 bag of cut up baby carrots with 2 cartons of beef broth.  I didn't think there was much Italian seasoning one of my spice bottles and ends up there was a few tablespoons but I also added a little black pepper and some fresh ground Pink Himalayan Sea Salt.  I highly doubt I will be able to duplicate this but it was well worth the treat on such a cold and chilly day.

Don woke up long enough to eat a bowl and went back to bed. I got up from a 3 hour nap, took care of the chickens and having another bowl, only this time I added crackers.

We were supposed to have steaks but the guys didn't want that much food so I made big Chef Salads. J also had a banana and chips.

We went to Real McCoys for lunch today.  We both had the 3 pc baked cod, cole slaw, roll, and french fries.  I had the Clam Chowder that was out of this world and Don had the Vegetable Prime.  The baked cod was over done and very rubbery.  That was a bit of a surprise because Nancy is an excellent cook.

It was clean out the fridge night. I warmed up pizza and the hand cut chips for Jon, the brisket, cucumber salad, toast and cornbread for me, and the meatloaf, garlic mashed potatoes and gravy for J. Chocolate treats for dessert.

Going back to McD's tonite.  After Rodney left after installing a new motor in our furnace, I made Ribeye steaks, fresh asparagus, Baked Red Potatoes, and Brown and serve biscuits ( I really don't like them but Don and I are from very poor families and that was what we got ~ we are dong better but those biscuits still suck)

Last night Don and I decided to hold off of Biscuits and gravy for breakfast and make pancakes and sausage this morning.  Don decided he isn't really hungry, so I guess I will save it for another day.

Went out for lunch. I got a beef brisket plate with cucumber salad, corn bread and fries. So good. Jon had unlimited wings and fries and J had a brisket sandwich on crusty bread with baked beans and had a couple of Jon's wings and a couple of Jon's fries. He also had a beer. We came home and he had kettle chips.

Baked half of the London Broil we bought with small red potatoes, baby carrots, onions, and celery.  Frosted brownies for dessert.

We stopped at Kwik trip after dr appointment and shopping.  I grabbed a Spicy Chicken and Cheese Sandwich.  Don grabbed a Crispy Chicken and cheese sandwich

Made loaded cheeseburgers today but no cheese on mine. Also fries. Lots of fries. Also Jon wanted nuggets. I just microwaved about 20 I had in the freezer. J ate the Kringle for dessert and it was supposed to be enough for 3
