What's for Dinner Today? ~ 2022

Had lasagna, garlic bread and salads. Too full for dessert!

Made cheeseburgers with fries and had walnut brownies for dessert.

I could not take a nap so got up and we went shopping.  While driving the "sleepys" crept in.  Don is going to have left over burgers and some of the pasta salads I bougtht.

I had leftover mashed sweet potatoes with butter and a container of the greek pasta salad that I bought today.

Last night I made Bradshaw Cheddar Cheese, Garlic and butter beef patties and tator tots

Planning on making steaks. I have baked potatoes in the oven and also making salads but J is making noise like he does not want to have that. Made walnut brownies for dessert.

Had dinner for lunch because J has to work. We had beef brisket sandwiches and a side of cut up lettuce and tomatoes. The guys had butter pecan ice cream for dessert.

The past week, we have had Rosa's Pizza, Rosa's Italian Beef sandwiches with Jalapeno poppers and mozzarella sticks, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, pork chops and who knows what else.

Yesterday, Don and I had a sausage egg and cheese biscuit sub round egg while we did laundry.  I had 2 burritos when I got off work this morning.

Planning on having hard shell tacos, ground beef enchiladas, rice and beans. Have some mini chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

Made loaded burgers and fries and made some brownies so dessert will be brownies with ice cream!

Warmed up shrimp and pasta for dinner and diced some tomatoes to add to it. Have some pettit fors for dessert.

Planning on having home made pizzas. The rest of the Persians for dessert.

We ended up having loaded up cheeseburgers and fries last night. I had some pre-made burger patties. Also made fries. Donuts for dessert. 

Today we ended up eating out. The guys had pizzas and beer and I had shrimp scampi and a salad and some homemade Italian bread. Persians for dessert. Lots of leftovers.

Plan on making a beef pasta sauce casserole but we shall see what time the guys get home. The rest of the Mounds Torte for dessert.

Made breakfast at noon. Eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns with onions. 

For dinner J ended up with hot dogs and chips because Jon ate the chicken for the salad. I had a very small salad. Hoping for some popcorn later.

Made ground beef hard shell tacos and enchiladas. Also Spanish Rice and refried beans with cheese. Also got some good salsa and chips. Got a good deal on some frosted donuts with red, white and blue sprinkles for dessert. Great meal.

I made New York Strip Steaks and baked red potatoes.  Also had those salads I made the other day

Those salads all sound good! Tonight we are having beef kabobs, rice pilaf, Jasmine Rice and salads. Egg donuts for dessert.

Monday we were going to make steaks but it just got too yucky hot and humid and then rainy so we decided not to have New York Strips.  We ended up just snacking on stuff and pasta salads

Sunday I made 4 salads ~ Potato salad with chopped bacon, onions, season salt, celery, and miracle whip.  A ranch Pasta salad with rotini noodles, celery, carrots, onion, radishes, chopped bacon, Salad Supreme, and Ranch dressing.  A Macaroni salad with elbow noodles, chopped bacon, celery, carrots, onions, radishes, cubed Velveeta cheese, peas, and miracle whip.  I also made a vegetable pasta salad with chopped bacon, celery, carrots, onions, radishes, mushrooms, yellow summer squash, and zucchini squash with Italian dressing.

You guessed it, we had salads on Sunday.

Planning on making fried chicken, seasoned potato wedges and mac and cheese. The rest of the cut out cookies for dessert.

Made cinnamon rolls for breakfast. Had brisket and lettuce and tomatoes on rolls with fries for lunch at the track. Made subs and chips for dinner and had cut out cookies for dessert.

Those potatoes sound good Dawn.

We were supposed to have kabobs, rice and pitas but J didn't want to. With the race ending all the places in town are crazy. So, we are getting the stuff to make big subs. Will have some chips with them. Mounds torte for dessert.

I am making Mushroom and Swiss pork patties and Bradshaw 1/3lb beef patties with cheese and bacon.  Making a new twist to my grilled potatoes.  Added chopped celery, chopped bacon, chopped onions, with liquid smoke and butter ~ making them on the stove like it was made on the grill

The guys had an early dinner of baked beans and grilled hot dogs but I think I am going to end up making them another meal. I had some of the seven layer salad. We had cut out cookies for dessert.

Fend for yourself night.  I had some steakhouse potato salad.  He said he couldn't find anything.  There was HIS cole slaw, he could have made a sandwich, etc.
