What's For Dinner in 2021

Last night I made skinless, boneless chicken breasts covered in mayo than Panko crumbs and topped with Italian seasoning, crushed rosemary, and garlic powder.  Made with spinach and boiled potatoes

OMG!!  Wish I knew you guys were at The Buckhorn.  That is "Charlies Bluff".  We stop out at the bars out there, usual the Beacon, Snuffy's, and JR's.  Don's grandma use to own one of the houses there, so we just go out because we can.  That isn't that far away from us.

Not very traditional but I made chicken tikka marsala with rice pilaf and salads. Frosted 'Egg' Donuts for dessert.

Sirloin steaks with baked potatoes with butter, salads and little rolls. Cooking in the hotel the next little bit. The rest of the coconut cream pie for dessert.

We went to Buckhorn Supper Club because J got Free Prime Rib dinner as a Veteran! We all had prime rib, baked potatoes with butter, salads and rolls. We also got free sodas! Pecan wedding cakes for dessert!

We went to a supper club! They had a buffet. I had crab legs, chicken, fried shrimp and mini crab cakes with salad bar. It was so good!

I am making a Beef Kielbasa Ring, cream corn, mashed potatoes, and leftover cake

Sounds good. I can't wait to cook more and bigger! Tonight I tried brat patties on hamburger buns and small fries. I also made a salad for me and a ham and cheese to use up the last bun. Pistachio muffins for dessert. They were so good!

Last night I think Don was getting hungry and I was not going to bed.  He finally threw a poop fit and grabbed the couple cans of beer left and told me to get to bed.  Funny there was only a bite of leftovers left.

I don't know why I go out of my way sometimes, but bought a Boneless Beef Chuck Roast and cut it in half.  I put one half in freezer for another day.  I added tiny red potatoes, baby carrots, 2 stalks of celery, and about 1/2 lb of Boiling Onions (the small ones).  I seasoned the roast with crushed rosemary, garlic and onion powder, and black pepper.  I browned one the roast in the fry pan before putting it on top of the other stuff in the slow cooker.  I also made 2 8x8 square pans of strawberry cake (from a box).  I am going to freeze one and frost the other with leftover Whipped Milk Chocolate frosting.  I am going to make a gravy out of the meat juices and browning's that are in the slow cooker.  

It's been a long time since I went this deep into cooking.

Frannie said she was going to make Tuna Casserole. So I made one with sautéed mushrooms, onions, and celery.  Don said he was going to bed and not eating.  What a surprise he ate quite a bit.

Got a kit and made egg drop soup, white rice, bacon wrapped crab meat, steamed veggies, and chicken but they ate the chicken before I could get any! Persians for dessert

Made hot ham and Swiss on rolls with butter and small salads. Very simple and very good. Coconut creme pie for dessert.

I boiled and pan fried brats cuz it was too hot and humid to make Don Grill.  Too hot to really feel like eating.

Borrowed the breakfast room's toaster and made club sandwiches and French Onion Soup. Coconut Cream Pie for dessert.

I made chorizo with flour tortilla shells, chopped onion and tomato, chopped lettuce, shredded cheese, Salsa  Verde, Taco Salsa, and the asparagus that we picked on Thursday for Friday grill out that never happened.

Made baked potatoes with butter, crispy brussell sprouts and shrimp scampi from the frozen kit. Coconut cream pie for dessert.

Made another easy dinner. Just Jon and I. Made Swiss Burgers and I loaded them up with cooked and raw onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and ketchup. Also made some crinkle cut fries. Had got a coconut cream pie but we were too full to eat it!

Since they are easy I will probably make soft shell loaded tacos tonight and Jon is requesting fries. Made peanut butter cookies for dessert.

Rib eye steaks with baked potatoes with butter and salads. Also made some chocolate chip cookies for dessert.

last night I mad a generic hamburger helper.  I also added to it ~ left over burger patties that he never ate a couple days ago, leftover cream corn, can of green beans, can of mixed veggies, and a package of cheese from a mac and cheese box that I needed the noodles for something else.  When it was done we topped it with shredded cheddar cheese and I also added Cholula Chili Lime Sauce.

I have pork cutlets thawing out for tonite, we shall see what happens

I made ground beef and cheese quesadilas. Also got some pre-made guacamole and pico sauce. Also made some Spanish Rice. Chocolate for dessert.

Don had Hot Itlalian beef sandwich and I had one fully loaded with everything.  Also got Mozzarella sticks and an order of family fries

Picked up some sourdough bread and made Swiss burgers with onions, tomatoes and mayo with some baked fries. Mini cupcakes for dessert.
