Don decided to have Dinty Moore Beef Stew instead of bidcuits and gravy. It is so hard to figure out what he wants because he still can't chew very well.
Just got home from laundry mat, chopped up the leftover ham. Then heated up the leftover tator tots and dumped Sweet Baby Ray BBQ sauce on them for a snack. Thinking what else I want. Tots did not do the trick. There were not that may.
Decided on my Kung Po Duck Ramens

The guys had leftovers and I made a ham and cheese sandwich with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and mayo for lunch.
For dinner I got some sliced beef and put it in au jus and seasoned it and put the meat and some Provolone cheese on sub rolls and put them in the oven until toasty and the Au Jus in bowls for dipping. Also made some crinkle cut fries. The rest of the frosted cookie bars for dessert. Very easy dinner and they loved it.

I am so disappointed with chicken tenders/filets that are made today. I use to be able to make sandwiches with them but I bought a back of tenders and they were no bigger than chicken nuggets. Now I feel the bags and they all feel like nuggets. So disappointing

For breakfast we had eggs, toast, bacon and hash browns with onions.
Instead of dinner, during the game I made a snack board with cheeses, sausages, ham, pickles, olives, chips and crackers. J also had a big helping of peach crisp.

Today is Kitchen Sink Soup. Cleaning out fridge and using stuff before it has to be tossed out. Chicken, venison steak, potatoes, carrots, mashed potatoes, half can of PBR, home made chicken base, etc. Also made a Pea, cheese and ham pasta salad. Did not realize was out of velveeta, so used shredded cheddar. Extra noodles went into the soup.

When I came home from work and found out my dr appointment has been cancelled due to weather, I had the rest of the chili and a buttered biscuit.
Right now I am making Salisbury steaks and gravy. I will probably finish off the rest of the tator tot casserole.

lol Dawn. He and Mouse are great dinner companions but they can be pigs!
J apparently took Jon for breakfast. He wanted to make dinner so that was okay. He made his bacon wrapped meatloaf with salt crusted baked potatoes and corn. I also cut up some grape tomatoes for me.

I made meatloaf, mashed potaoes, and beef gravy. Don actually ate it and did not complain.

I ate some leftover chili and a mug of hot chocolate when I got home from work
For lunch/supper I made venison steaks with onions & mushrooms, mashed potatoes, and cream corn. Of course Don complained the steak was too tough. No pleasing him.

No, J brought his food home. He did bring Jon some and Jon will pretty much always eat free food. lol And yes, I know who he sounds like. Like minds. Or lack of them lol
Made Jon and I egg, ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch and frozen pizzas for dinner. Could not get to town to get the usuals.

I bet J drank alot though. I wonder who else does that. *LOL*
I see J did not understand that you and Jon did not want Popeyes. I am guessing he decided he did not want to eat there at the restaurant.

J ended up not eating last night. Who does that sound like?
Jon and I had big lunch. Burgers loaded with lettuce, tomato, onions, mayo and ketchip and fries. I did not have dinner but J brought home Popeyes sandwiches and fries.

Re: What's For Dinner (or any other meal) 2024
I brought home Sausage, egg, and cheese McGriddles sub round egg and hash browns and also a large coffee for Don with creamers on the side.
The other day, Don actually made himself a couple of hamburgers (of course I bought frozen patties, just in case he did)
Today I am making tator tot casserole. I am not going to tell Don that the tiny bit that was left of his Dinty Moore is in there as well, because I wanted to get the dish out of the fridge. I also had enough buttermilk for the casserole, instead of milk.
