Beef and Veggie Pie
- leftover stew/curry
- pack of ready to roll puff or shortcrust pastry
- some extra veggies if you need to bulk out the stew – for budget pie add in boiled potatoes and peas.
- egg or milk to brush the pastry
To turn your stew into a pie – just tip the stew into a pie dish, top with a sheet of puff or shortcrust pastry and cook in the oven at around 200C until the pastry is risen and golden brown and the filling is properly heated through and piping hot.
