Made breaded boneless pork loin chops with rice pilaf, peas and cut up tomatoes. I also made MoJo's but have to tweak the recipe a bit. They were pretty good. Also made rice krispies treats for dessert.

We went out to dinner! J and I had ribeye steaks, thrice cooked chips, onion rings, olives, breads warmed with a side of butter and flavored olive oil. I also had a small salad. Jon had what they call a dirty burger with bacon and sauce and loaded with skinny fries. They each had a Guiness. Small bars called Millionaire bars for dessert.

Another day the big dinner didn't get made. For a late lunch I made J an Italian Sausage Sandwich with peppers, marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. I made egg salad for me. Also crisps and grapes.

For dinner I ended up making baked potatoes and had sides to put on them: butter, salt, pepper, onions, grated Colby/Jack cheese and diced up tomatoes. For dessert I made a pan of graham cracker, caramel and chocolate bars and sliced them into tiny squares.

We had Beef Hamburger Helper and I made sandwiches out of the Helper.  Don thought I was nuts but i told him when I was a kid we use to put Hamburger Helper on buttered bread to fill us up because we were poor and lucky if there was any food in the house.  He did try it and didn't complain about it.

This morning we are at the laundry mat.  I stopped at McDonald's and we each had 2 breakfast burritos, a hash brown, and soda.

I made homemade pizzas. What a mess. Flour all over my kitchen. Made J and I a Calzone with sausage ( I could not find loose so I had to get the sausage links and take the casings off and cook them.), pancetta, onions, black olives and sauce and cheese. I made Jon a pizza with sausage, pancetta, onions, green olives and pepperoni. Chocolate chip shortbread cookies for dessert.

Two nights ago, I bought Sub sandwiches from Walmart because the weather was so horrible (2.5 inches of rain and high winds).  Last night I made cheddar brats and grilled potatoes

We got a free lunch the day before at work ~

Last night was so darn hot, we hopped in the car and went to Pick N Save in Fort Atkinson.  I used my credit card to buy T-Bone steaks that were on sale for about half the normal price.  I figured $7.99/lb was not a bad deal.  I also bought some potato salad, cole slaw, and 2 pasta salads.  Don ate 2 bites of his steak and that was it.  I ate the whole thing.  They were a little more than an inche thick and weighed about 1.5 lbs each.

Yesterday Walmart had all kinds of stuff (chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, chips, jello, water and flavor packets, mini candy bars, etc).  I had another breaded chicken sandwich for supper.  Eating chips and jello for lunch today because maintenance threw out my lunch for today.  Not sure what I will do for tonite for supper
