Potato Soup from "The Best of the Best from the Midwest Cookbook"
POTATO SOUP
(THE PTA PANTRY ~ OHIO)
5 MEDIUM POTATOES, PEELED 1 TSP SALT
CUT IN CUBES PEPPER TO TASTE
1 MEDIUM ONION, DICED 1/8-1/4 TSP DILL WEED
3 TBS BUTTER 1 CHICKEN BOUILLON CUBE
2 CUPS WATER 2 CUPS MILK

Cook potatoes and onion in hot butter until golden, about 10 minutes. Add water, salt, pepper, dill, and bouillon cube; heat over high heat till boiling. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender. Remove frrom heat. Mash potatoes with a potato masher. Add Milk, heat through
