My chicken Bubbles (The Rhode Island Red) will be excited about this day (NOT!).
McTopHat (the Polish White) passed away last Sunday in February 2019.

It is believed that chicken was introduced to American soil by the European explorers in the 16th century.  Chicken consumption in the United States increased during World War II due to a shortage of beef and pork.

Welcome to the HenCam! I live in a small town west of Boston, in the United States. I don’t have a real farm, but I do have a backyard big enough for chickens, two goats, dogs, a rabbit, a pond with koi, and a garden. This website is where I share my backyard animals (via the cams) and chicken keeping expertise (via a blog and FAQs.) I also am an author of cookbooks, children’s books and collections of vintage photographs.
There are three separate cams. The view shows each cam for a few minutes, and then rotates to the next. First is the main HenCam showing the outside run where eight hens live. Next is a cam showing the hens inside of the big barn. Finally, another outside cam in the run where Phoebe the bunny lives. This cam shows the goats, too.
The cams have sound! Turn up the volume to hear the hens.

This live cam overlooks the cozy turkey barn at Farm Sanctuary. Watch as these rescued turkeys eat and relax inside the barn and in the yard outside. Keep an eye out for their neighbors; there are chickens and goats that like to hang out here, too!
