Get ready to take pleasure in the age old Indian traditions in Surajkund Crafts Fair, held at Surajkund, about 8 km away from Delhi.

This is one place which pulls more than 400 adroit craft artists from all over India India and SAARC nations on the same premise. Even though the confusion definitely hovers around the name of the place but it is believed that the name of the place had been derived from an ancient amphitheatre sun pool, erected during 10th century by the chieftain of the Tomar clan, Raja Suraj Pal. The affluent and astounding craft fair showcases various kinds of Handloom and handicrafts. Adroit paintings, textiles, wood stock, ivory work, cane and grass works are on display. Woven silk, cotton-blended saris block painted fabrics and stuffed leather toys are treats to the eyes as well. Plenty of common and uncommon things make this fair a fabulous one for all the tourists who love to witness the primeval and modern art forms of India at the same time. Authentic fragrances and flavors of rich cuisines are the charm of the Surajkund Crafts Fair. The splendid decorations and hanging lanterns would brighten up the spirit of one and all present on the fair premise.
