Bakers Square Strawberry Pie

Ingredients

6 C chopped strawberries
¾ C granulated sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
¼ tsp nutmeg
⅛ tsp salt
One thin pie crust, shell and topping
¼ C brown sugar
¼ C all-purpose flour
2 Tbs melted butter

Directions

Preheat oven to 400º. Place pie shell in pie plate.

Mix brown sugar, flour, and butter together with strawberry slices, then pour filling into pie shell.

Mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt together and sprinkle over the apples. Cover with pie crusttopping.

Bake for 45 to 50 minutes, until crust is golden and strawberries are tender.
