There would be no holding me back. I would have had a number of choice words with that jerk. The VFW was handing out flags before the parade. I thanked the gal who gave us ours and also yelled Thank you to all the "Old Timers" on the wagon. Then others started saying thank you. I said "Thank you for your service guys" and another gal said, "and gals". I apologized because I was paying attention to the men on the wagon. I thanked her for her service too. Everyone wanted flags but I really did not hear anyone saying thank you. That burned me up

Thanks for the kind words Dawn. And thanks for the quote. At the fireworks there was this big drunk guy yelling 'Merica and he had a flag he kept dragging in the water. I had to hold the guys back.
