Apple Sauce
Ingredients
Serves: 8
- 1.3 kg (3 lb) apples - peeled, cored and chopped
- 750ml (3.17 cups) water
- 3 oz. sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Method
Prep: 15min › Cook: 25min › Ready in: 40min
[*]Place apples in a large saucepan and just barely cover with water. Simmer over medium-low heat until apples are tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
[*]Run cooked apples through a food processor or blender. Stir in the sugar and lemon juice. Cook over medium heat for about 3 to 5 minutes.
