Time needed
20-30 min preparation + 6-7 hour cooking
Serving Size / Yield
8-10 servings
2 C. All-Purpose Flour, plus additional for surface
3 tsp. Baking Powder
11 Tbs. Butter, softened, divided
2 tsp. Sea Salt
1 C. 2% Milk
1 1/4 C. Brown Sugar
2 1/2 Tbs. Ground Cinnamon
2 Tbs. Cornstarch

In a large mixing bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, 7 tablespoons of butter, and salt. Gradually add the milk until a soft dough forms. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface. Roll the dough out into a large rectangle. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the remaining butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and cornstarch. Sprinkle the filling onto the dough, using a rolling pin to gently press it in. Roll the dough up tightly. Slice into rolls. Line a large crockpot with parchment paper. Place the rolls in a single layer on the bottom of the crockpot. Bake on low for one hour. Set heat to warm and leave cinnamon rolls in the crockpot for 5-6 hours or overnight.
