1 TBS Chili Powder
1 1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 scant tsp Himalayan Salt
1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
14 tsp Onion Powder  (if you have GI problems or don't like onion powder, you can substitute 3 TBS dried Chives)
1/4 tsp Crushed Red Pepper Flakes (optional ~ I did not use because Don is not a spicy liking person)
1/4 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/2 tsp Corn Starch (2 tsp flour will work if necessary)
2/3 cup water (reserve to add to beef after drained)

Mix spices together and set aside

Brown 1# ground beef, drain fat

Add seasoning mixture and 2/3 water.  Mix ~ bring to boil ~ turn to simmer and cook until desired consistency.

Note: Corn Starch acts as a binder to make it stick better.  One recipe I saw uses it the other did not.  I reduced it because it seemed like alot of corn starch.

This is my maiden voyage of creating my own seasonings for tacos.  Will update after we try it and see what needs to increase/decrease omit, etc.
